So what is it about? Well, we wanted to go around the world and figured that in the process we could blog about it for friends and family. Then we decided that maybe we could use the opportunity to raise awareness (and maybe even some money) for the Childrens Medical Research Institute (CMRI). CMRI are an Australian organisation devoted to preventing childhood illnesses inherited through the genes. We had a little boy, Harry, who passed away from a genetic illness so we have a personal link to CMRI. They are most famous here for running the Jeans For Genes day where lots of people wear denim to work, provide a small donation for the privilege and have a relaxed, fun day whilst helping a great charity! 

The website is a travel blog for family and friends, a travel diary, a photographic atlas and hopefully a geographic learning experience. Oh, yeah, and it is also a way for people to link to CMRI to learn about the great work they do and maybe even donate some money to their wonderful cause. 

Navigating the Site

The Travels and Tribulations Blog is about us. Our travel diary that summarises what we have done, what we have eaten, what was amusing and what was frustrating. The Where's Molly Blog will tell you where we are, where we are going and a little bit about the various countries, cities and towns that we visit. Fingers crossed we will be able to convey images and information that aren't readily found in guide books.
