Dressed for a Party!!
We went back to England for a few days to go to my Aunty Tracy's house warming party. It is crazy to think that in Europe you can just drive through a few countries to go to a party.
I loved getting dressed up and then when I got there and surprised everyone our long trip was worth it. I was trusted to take orders, prepare and serve cocktails so I was busy all night - having lots of fun too!!

France - but not Paris yet!

I have been in and out of France now but not yet Paris (except for a dirty train station and the rather nice air port).
We went to the beaches where the D-Day landings occurred in 1944. A lot of people died there from England, Canada, America and of course France and Germany.
We went back to England after Normandy - it is fun being able to just change direction and go to a different country when you want to. It is like heading to Canberra and then deciding to go to Goulburn instead. Well, kind of like that.
Hope everyone is enjoying winter. We are hoping to have a white Christmas in North America so I will be looking forward to Summer as well when I get home.

We had to rush to England from Moscow when we found out my great Grandma had died so along the way we visited Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and France. When finally we reached Yorkshire we stayed there for about a week before heading to Northumberland and staying there for 2 nights.

On our way to Ireland we drove through Scotland for about 6 hours and then  a ferry to Northern Ireland - we had to wait in a queue for about 2 hours and then finally we got onto the bit between the road and the boat waited there for about an hour before been told we had to get on another boat. It was the bumpiest ride ever.

When we finally got to Northern Ireland we drove around it for about 2 hours, soon to discover that we had been half around it and were back where we started. So we decided that we would stay there for the night the next day we drove to Dublin and stayed there for 2 nights while catching up with some friends.

After Dublin we drove down to Rosslare and stayed there for a night and the next day had a lovely journey to Wales. We stayed there for 2 nights with family and then drove down to Cornwall to stay for 3 weeks - it was amazing to have some space for that period ofr time. It was also great to see all my family and friends! We spent a day running around, quite lost, in a Maize Maze – a huge maze made in a corn field!

While we were there I was on a float for the Hayle town carnival - it was for the Methodist church so it was Noah’s Ark and I had to be a caterpillar! We drove up the main street of Hayle and then back again, waving at everyone and getting lots of cheers and claps.

Well, the real question of where is Molly cannot be answered tonight...........girls would shriek, boys would swoon and people would wonder what we were doing with our daughter..........she is safe, she is preparing updates but right now, I need to catch up on her behalf - clearly she was spoilt by her English grand parents and has done NOTHING for our blog!
So here is something from..........:Northern England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland and Wales.........
