We had to rush to England from Moscow when we found out my great Grandma had died so along the way we visited Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and France. When finally we reached Yorkshire we stayed there for about a week before heading to Northumberland and staying there for 2 nights.

On our way to Ireland we drove through Scotland for about 6 hours and then  a ferry to Northern Ireland - we had to wait in a queue for about 2 hours and then finally we got onto the bit between the road and the boat waited there for about an hour before been told we had to get on another boat. It was the bumpiest ride ever.

When we finally got to Northern Ireland we drove around it for about 2 hours, soon to discover that we had been half around it and were back where we started. So we decided that we would stay there for the night the next day we drove to Dublin and stayed there for 2 nights while catching up with some friends.

After Dublin we drove down to Rosslare and stayed there for a night and the next day had a lovely journey to Wales. We stayed there for 2 nights with family and then drove down to Cornwall to stay for 3 weeks - it was amazing to have some space for that period ofr time. It was also great to see all my family and friends! We spent a day running around, quite lost, in a Maize Maze – a huge maze made in a corn field!

While we were there I was on a float for the Hayle town carnival - it was for the Methodist church so it was Noah’s Ark and I had to be a caterpillar! We drove up the main street of Hayle and then back again, waving at everyone and getting lots of cheers and claps.
